Terms and Conditions Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse Roy's bookshop and add any books that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order. We will confirm that your order has been received. We will normally send your order to you in 3 - 8 business days Books are normally sent by First Class Mail. The cost of the book on the site includes postage and packaging Payment Once you place an order at our website, you will be taken to PayPal's secure site to complete the transaction and make payment. PayPal ensure all details are encrypted and secure. We do not hold any credit card details. Paying through PayPal is very easy and secure. You can choose to pay using any major credit card, or using your PayPal account if you have one. A PayPal account is NOT necessary however. Returns Policy In accordance with consumer protection (Distance Selling) regulations 2000, the consumer has seven working days in which to cancel the contract of sale (without reason), starting from the day after receipt of goods. Any claims for damage, non-functionality and mis-shipping must be made within 7 days of receipt. After this date, faulty goods returned within a reasonable time will be refunded in full or replaced as compliant with the amended Sale of goods Act 1979. Goods returned as faulty that are found to be in good order with no defects may incur a service charge. Any goods returned without prior authorisation will be rejected. It is the consumer's responsibility to pay for carriage on all returned goods (unless the goods are being returned to us as faulty). The consumer is also responsible for ensuring safe delivery of the returned item(s). A full refund for the item(s) will always be given within 30 days of cancellation of the order.
